I am deeply in love with Jesus, and I love to help others fall deeply in love with Him. I live in Michigan with my husband, and we are overjoyed to be expecting our first child, a baby girl. I created this space with you in mind.
Together you and I will embark on a journey of candid conversations. I earnestly pray that the conversations and content on my site encourage, uplift, and inspire you to chase after Jesus more and more each day. You are welcomed and loved here, no matter what your past looks like.

get to know me
These are a few of my favorite things…
- I love to spend time with my husband, family, and friends. Family is very important to me, and so is fellowship!
- I love anything related to interior design and home renovations. I’m an HGTV fan, and Dream Home Makeover is one of my favorite Netflix shows. HomeGoods is my favorite store, and StudioMcGee, Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia, Threshold, and Oplahouse are my favorite design brands in Target!
- I love music! I enjoy singing and dancing to different genres of music, but I have an old soul. Some of my favorites are Anita Baker, Isley Brothers, Luther Vandross, and Sade. I also love Detroit-style ballroom dancing, Chicago-stepping, and line dancing (not the country kind).
- Hanging out with teens! My husband and I lead the teen ministry at our church, and that is a love we both share!
- I love to connect with and mentor teens in Liberia. Liberia has a huge chunk of my heart (I am Liberian-American!), and I am passionate about helping Liberian youth advance in their education.
- I love to read. You can find me curled up on a late evening reading a good non-fiction or fiction book.
- Taking a drive on a nice sunny day to a place with beautiful nature views is a weekly joy I deeply cherish.
- I love to write and journal.
- I love to travel!
- I love to watch the sun rise and set.
